1966 250SEc 111 Recently the lower end of the shift link at the pin on the bell crank at the transmission fell off leaving a bit of rubber. Warmed the new plastic bushing in boiling water and pushed onto the bell crank pin. I have not been able to get the loop end of the rod onto the bushing. Can't come up with a safe way to heat the bushing in place. Originally considered placing the bushing, after heating, into the loop a and then reheating to press on, but thought the hole in the bushing would be too compressed. I will appreciate your good advice and ideas. Thank You. Edla
