My car is having trouble getting up to speed. It sounds like the exhaust is sputtering but there is still air coming out of the tailpipe. It wants to bog down and die sometimes at stop signs. And tobe completely honest it sounds like a weed wacker when it is running. I changes the spark plugs and the valve cover gasket because it was leaking oil and I thought that maybe the oil could have leaked down and caused the problem but it didnt do anything at all. A mechanic I talked to said it sounded like it was only running on three cylinders but I have no clue what to do

Do you
have the same problem?

Scan for codes, check fuel pressure and check compression first
