Question: 1999 Ford F-150 miles: 123,000, I have a problem, when I apply the front brake coming to a stop a hear a Clunking noise from the front end. I've taking down to the local garage but they don't know what it could be. Any idea's?

Answer: Yes, your front radius arm bushings need replacing.



Question: 1999 Olds Cutlass Supreme mileage: 94,800. Is it necessary to move the steering column when replacing upper control arm bushings on the left front wheel?

Answer: No. You should be able to remove upper control arm (left side) without removing the column.


Question: 2004 Chevrolet 1500 truck miles: 78,000. I have a slight bumming noise when steering lightly to one side or the other. I have had it at the repair shop three times. They have replacing an idler arm but that didn't help. What's up?

Answer: That model year had a problem with the steering intermediate shaft, Remove to replace with new and your problem will go away.
