The driver rear window is off track in a 2001 Toyota highlander. I go to hit the window down button and the window motor goes but the window itself does not! I need to get the driver back door inner door panel off to get a visual. If you could provide me info on how to get the door panel off and what to do in order to get the window back on track id appreciate It. Thank you

Here is a guide that will help with removing the door panel and how to replace the window regulator:

What happens when the window falls off is it is just not attached any longer to the regulator? So, this means it will most likely need to be replaced unless you can reattach the window.

Once you access the regulator, we will get a better idea what is going on but please run through this process and let us know what you find.

Please see the info below for more detail. Thanks
