Will not go over 2000 RPM's sometime.

Driving down road and truck will loose power. Will not rev over 2000 rpm's. Can turn off key and let set for about 5 min. And will run ok for awhile, then it will happen again. No check engine light every comes on when it happens.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Have a 95 pontiac firebird and was doing the same thing, what you should do is check the fuel pressure. On our pontiac we had to put in a new fuel pump which it did not need and the pump screen. With the ethenal in the gas will clog up filters, We also used seafoam in the gas tank, it helps get rid of the crud in the gas tank
