Speedometer not working trip not working either. Have the output sensor but cannot locate it on my car! Please help! Thanks. I am looking for a clear diagram of where this sensor is located. Will replacing the output sensor fix my speedometer?

If you replace the speed sensor then it may fix it unless it's a wiring or dash problem. But you should get a code for it as well. It's item 24 in the pic this is for a 2.5L a 2.0L is in same area see pic

Turned out the problem was the connector to vehicle speed sensor was ad. After fixing that the speedometer and trip omelet started to work. After driving it 75 miles it passed emission test! It failed 2 weeks ago from 7 readiness codes. So problem solved. Thanks for your help!
