I have just bought a 2006 Honda accord cdti 110000 miles full service history. The car drives beautifully pulls like it should and it's really powerful with its 2.2 engine. Problem is my friend opened the oil cap and the car spat out oil and some white smoke appeared out the engine. Water levels are fine and oil level is also ok. Friend said the car will cause problems in the future and that I should not keep it. Can someone please tell me if this is normal or shows some signs of underlying problems?

White smoke coming out of oil cap while running is normal as long as it's not a ton of white smoke like really white and a lot of it. I'd advise replacing pcv valve and make sure it works and not plugged, if it gets vacuum it's not plugged.
