When parking slight shake

When iam parking, I stop car by brake then put the hand break then shift gear from D to P. Is that right? But when I do this the car shake slightly when move d to p. Is that normal.
Can please tell the role when parking and also when start moving car

With foot on brake pedal shift into park then foot still on brake apply parking brake. Release brake pedal then turn ignition off

Some times the car will shake anyway
