2002 V70 XC awd Volvo automatic w/45000 miles, 5 cylinder tu
How do I reset the dash service indicator (after an oil change)? :) Also, as my wife was running errands she went to start the car and only the dash lites would come on. This happened several times. On the fourth try the car started normally. I told her perhaps the gear selector was not quite seated in park. Any comments?

That could very well be it, next time have her try it in neautral, could be the Neutral Safety Switch has a small bad spot in it. maint light- Turn ignition to position 1, then push down and hold trip reset button, within 2 seconds turn ignition to position 2 while holding down reset button. Hold reset button down until it resets
