Maintenance - undercarriage service
2001 Volvo XC70 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 85,000 miles
Hi there,
I have owned several Volvos over the last 14 years and it has never been suggested to me that I get undercarriage service until now. I have lived in Wisconsin, the Bay Area, Southern California, and now Portland, Oregon. What is this and do I really need it?

That is new to me also? You should ask the service advisor what that service is? I am going to assume maybe it is spraying under the vehicle with some sorte of under coating but I guess there really is no need for it here in Southern California since it does not rain or snow out here? But if you could find out I would also like to know what that is?
