On my 2001 Volvo XC70 (67,000 miles) I have the following problem. Over the past 2 weeks I have had 2 instances of the left headlight and left front turn signal lamps do not work. The first time, I swapped bulbs and went merrily on my way. On the latest instance, I pulled the bulbs and could not see any break in the filaments in the bulbs. Also, an ohm-meter indicated that the filaments were intact (read a closed circuit). I checked several other connections in the area, and found no open connections. comments or assistance in heading toward a solution would be appreciated.
