1995 Volvo S90 Repair Question

1995 Volvo S90 car lost all power
Engine Performance problem
1995 Volvo S90 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 207000 miles
during my commute this morning i was slowing to make a right hand turn and when i attempted to go i realized that i had lost all power (steering, ABS, etc) and all the dashboard lights came on. I turned the car off and turned it back on and things returned to normal, or so i thought. About 4 miles later it did it again when i was stopped preparing to take a left turn. Again, I turned the car off then on and it was fine for the last 3/4 of a mile to my destination. My gas gauge is broken but I thought i still had enough for my trip. Would I have been able to make it 4 more miles if it was running out of gas? What else could it be?
