Transmission problem
1999 Volvo S70 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 89000 miles

My volvo s70 transmiision is not working properly. Once I turn on the car and start moving the transmission just stays in neutro eventhuogh the trans. Is in the drive mode. When I turn off the car, I have to wait few minutes to continue the ride but I can feel the trans. Slippering.

What can be wrong?

Sounds like you have an internal failure with the transmission. Will need to have it replaced.

I had similar issues with my 1999 s70. The flashing orange arrow was on and the transmission was slipping. The mechanic said I needed a new transmission at $4800.
I used the Lucas transmission fix and the arrow stopped flashing and the transmission drives without any noticable issues. This is the second trans I have recovered using this Lucas additive and I swear by it.

I recommend you do not flush your transmission if the fluid is burned or contains particles. Just add the Lucas transmission fix and see if it helps. Can't hurt. Do not worry about overfilling the tranny as a moderate overfill will not harm it and would be expelled if it was.
