1998 Volvo S70 Vehicle Speed Sensor
Electrical problem
1998 Volvo S70 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 142000 miles
My speedometer works on and off, changed out the instrument cluster, still only works once in while. I think it may be vehicle speed senor (VSS) somewhere in transaxle. Please send me a good diagram/picture and other identifing items of the location of this sensor.Matt, from your outfit sent me a picture that I can't make-out. Thanks
Engine is not a turbo

I have the same exact problem and replaced the vss with a oem sensor. I am still having the same problem. What else can possibly be wrong?

i also failed to mention that i have an abs problem too. can this be related? my traction control light is on and the abs light. otherwise everthing else on the car runs great. i have 180,000 miles on it and it will still crack 130mph like a cheetah. lol
