My car stalled on me last thursday and its never done that before. I bought the car used about a year ago. It needs a new ac compressor. but I dont know why it would stall. Ive been putting regular gas in the car. could that be the problem?

Have the PCV system checked to see if it is plugged up and have it scanned for codes. To check the PCV you need a manogram vacuum gage you insert to the oil dipstick tube and check for vacuum. Min specification is -0.2kpa or lower. If it is higher then that then the PCV system is plugged up. Also if you have turbo it is recommeded you use premium fuel.
