2002 Volvo S60 Repair Question

Message centre says to shift up or slow down
Computer problem
2002 Volvo S60 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 143k miles
My 02 Volvo S60 shows a message that tells me to "Slow Down or Shift Up" when warming up when parked. Also engine sounds kinda bumpy and engine light goes on. If it is turned off and restarted the trouble will go away. Anybody else have this problem or know what's happening?
