S90 ALMOST STALLING

1990 Volvo Other

I HAVE A 1998 VOLVO S90 WITH 120,000 MILES.
V6 AUTOMATIC.
I JUST RECENTLY HAD A WATER HOSE BUST WHILE ON HIGHWAY AND ENGINE OVERHEATED BUT I LIMPED IT HOME WITH HEATER CRANKED ON.
I REPLACED HOSE AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH.
NOW, ONE WEEK LATER, THE CAR HAS STARTED ACTING LIKE ONE CYLINDER IS NOT FIRING. WHEN I FIRST START THE CAR OR TAKE OFF FROM A STOP OR AM SITTING AT LIGHT, THE CAR SHAKES AND ACTS LIKE IT WANTS TO STALL. EVEN AT SPEED ON HIGHWAY IT STILL MAKES PUTTING SOUNDS OCCASIONALLY FROM EXHAUST LETTING ME KNOW IT ISN'T FIRING RIGHT (OR SOMETHING).
