The turn signal and hazard light stopped working suddenly. I have purchased and replaced the combination switch in the dash.

All signal lights stays on, front and rear at the same time . The switch does not light's up, flashes, as it does when it was working. All turn lamps goes out when the fuse is removed.

What could be the cause?
