1995 Volvo 960 Replacing Driver-side headlamp

Electrical problem
1995 Volvo 960 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 102000 miles

Trying to replace driver-side headlamp... Stuck! Need specific instructions, please. Does the lamp wiper assembly have to be taken off lamp? If so, how in the world do you make this happen. Seems impossible to get to. Having a really hard time. Thanks.

Hello and thanks for donating

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Release the headlight trim, using the applicable method below.

If equipped with plastic screws, rotate them 1 / 2 turn, then remove the trim.

If equipped with a clip at the top center of the trim panel, squeeze the two sides together, and pull upward to release the trim.

Unfasten the 4 small screws holding the retainer, then remove the retainer and the headlamp.
Unplug the electrical connector from the rear of the headlamp.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
