I own a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo station wagon. Its an automatic transmission and has around 140,000 miles. Its a 20 valve engine, I believe but I dont have the exact specs. I was driving home last night and a large dip in the street caught me off guard in the dark. I hit it at too fast of a speed and the bottom of the car hit the concrete (or at least thats what it felt like). I woke up this morning to find a considerable amount of engine oil under my car. I checked the dipstick and sure enough it was almost dry. I looked under the car with a flashlight but it was hard to pin-point the exact location of the leak. However, it looks like its leaking from under the engine. Does anyone have any idea of what may have gotten damaged? Worst and best case scenarios? ANY info would help! Thanks!

Lex.

Worst case scenario is you ran over a guy in a wheel chair and your face will be all over the news tommorrow.

You probably tore a hole in the oil pan. Any lights come on between the time of the collision with the unknown object (wheelchair...see above reaction) until the point of turning the engine off?
