1996 Volvo 850 Windshield Wiper
The drivers side wiper only wipes the bottom half of the window even though the wiper extends the full wipe. We have replaced the arm mechanism and blades but nothing seems to work. It's getting dangerous during rain storms. I hope you can help.

Turn the ignition on and then turn the wipers on, turn the ignition off when the wiper is vertical. Now go out and about 6" from the base of the wiper arm press down several times very firmly. This will tweak the arm enough to make full contact with the windshield. Good luck & good wiping
