1996 Volvo 850 car running rough

The problem with my 1996 850 volvo is the engine light is on and somtimes the water light will come on and off. Also the car runns rough. Could this be a fuel injector problem or does it need a major tune up?

When the check engine light is on the computer has identified a problem within the engine management you need to get the computer scanned for OBD2 code/s this is your starting point of diagnosis-
