Hello ...I just purchased a used 1995 volov 850 turbo wagon. Has had a problem with turning over and starting ...then sputtering out. When I try to start it again, it sounds as if it's trying to turn over...but will not turn over to start up. (it almost sounds as if the car was flooded; similar to a car years ago with a carburetor).
The car also had the shift overlock removed by the previous owner; would this be hard to replace, if I did this myself? (Have worked on my own Volvo's for a few years.)
