1989 Volvo 760 Repair Question

1989 Volvo 760 no pedal action after repair
Brake repair on 1989 Volvo 760. Replaced pads and master cylinder. With motor off have hard brake peda and with motor running pedal has no resistance, goes to floor and will not return. Bled brakes per specs,(no bubbles).
Could this be a defective power booster and can u check
for defect???

Replied on April 14, 2008
with a new master cylinder bleed that first then go on to bleed each wheel. Even though you have bled them all ready there could have been air in the master cylinder that moved down to the lines. Check the vacuum lines.
