I have 1987 volvo 760 GLE 2.8 engine. the car was starting fine 2 weeks ago but had hesitation and back firing problem. stumbling. I made a mistake by allowing a neighbor that claims he can fix cars work on the volvo. he was messing with the throttle cable.
he put his palm over the throttle body to blow out
carbon. while the car was running. the car shut down. he possible flooded the engine. now my volvo will not start.
I have put fuel filter, fuel pump, new coil, cap - rotor, sprk plugs. still no start. it just rotates and eats up the battery.
please help.
