1990 Volvo 740 over drive relay

1990 Volvo 740 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 146000 miles
bought my volvo last year and had to replace the overdrive relay switch. now i find after i have driven the car approx. 1/2 hour the overdrive kicks out. i can reset for a few seconds and then it happens again until i let the engine cool down. do you think it is a bad relay again?
