Electrical problem
1990 Volvo 740 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello,

My daughters car - 1990 Volvo 740 sedan 4 cyl. 2wd

headlamps do not work...

when head light switch is the "all on" position all dash lights die and headlamps do not come on...

when switch is in the running light position all things ok...

high beams will only work when you hold the turn signal stalk back...

I have replaced the following with working service items -

"J" relay
"K" relay
Turn signal/High beam module in steering column
bulb fail relay - aka the "big red relay"
light switch

need help, inspection is coming up soon and the car will not pass as is...

ideas???
