Wires runnng from distributor cap to spark p
Engine Performance problem
1989 Volvo 740 4 cyl Automatic 179000 miles
i think the previous owner has the wires mixed up. i don't know how the wires go and my engine is running rough and hesitating to stay on at a stop light or stop sign. my first question is what is the right order of the wires and how is it done.? my distributor cap doesn't have the numbers on it.? my second question is why would my car be doing this at a stop sign or a stop light? can you email me with a picture of the correct wire set up coming from the distributor and which wires is 1,2,3,4, etc. thank you very much. i hope you can help me.
