1984 Volvo 245 stall on a very hot day

1984 Volvo 245 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 20000 miles
My 84 244 has some type of fuel issue. on vey hot arizona day after operating for 10-15 minutes very looses power and stalls. after being parked for about 20 minutes or so the vehicle starts and drive with not problem. something seems to be over heating. drive well at night or a cool day.
