Negative! That is not Diesel oil if it was the quart would say so, you can only use Diesel oil in that vehicle

"Dr Loot" you are wrong, Mobil 1 0w-40 says it is a gasoline oil, but VW has approved it for use in their pre-2004 engines.
No, a CJ-4 oil or VW 505.01 oil, not for use as fuel.
