Volkswagen Passat Grinding Problem
1998 Volkswagen Passat 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 152000 miles
sun roof stuck open, when I try closing manually w/allen wrench it moves about 1" and stops. sounds like 2 gears grinding agains each other

Sounds like you will have to pull the headliner and see what is broken.
