I have a 99 New Beetle, had a new transmission put in it and now there are a multitude of problems. Power windows sunroof, radio, keyless entry, do not work. And when the headlights are turned on, it causes the trunk release to open. Today I am driving this car even though nothing works! I turn on my airconditioning, I SMELL SMOKE. I pop the hood call my mechanic which is now programed into my cell phone and describe the odor. My air conditioning fan isn't working now. So, I call the Volkswagen dealership to get an appointment for this sick bug of mine and he tells me about the comfort and convienence modules could be bad. What is that?
