JETTA III GL 2.0 A OBD-I HELP
1995 Volkswagen Other
I have a 1995 volkswagen jetta III GL with a 2.0L type A engine. The check engine light has been coming on when the car reaches operating temperature and going off intermitently. When the light is on the car acts like it is out of time. I have no power, but when the light goes off, my car lights up and throws me back into the seat. It is an OBD-1 Computer. I flashed the codes and got 333. Assumed this meant P0333. Knock Sensor 2 Circuit High Input (Bank 2). Truthfully I do not know what that means. I changed the knock sensor and the same problem persists. I changed the timing belt and the problem got better but the check engine light sitll comes on, but only stays on for a minute or so. The car runs great with the new timing belt, until the light comes on, then it runs horribly. I am running 91 octane in it. Tried some octane booster and it ran a little better but the light still comes on and the problem still persists. HELP. I dont know what is going on with the car.
