My 1995 jetta gls has 130000 miles on it. I was having problems with the cooling fan, which eventually just died. I replaced it with a new one, but am still experiencing issues, which is it doesnt work unless i put the a/c on, then both fans rotate. But, I want the main cooling fan to rotate during normal operation. The VW dealership said they wanted to replace the fan (which I did myself) and the fuse. My question is where this fuse is, because I checked the fuse by the driver side kick panel and it was good. I know that there is another fuse system by the driver side suspension strut. Is that what Im looking for? Or could it be the fan switch? Im lost, please help.
