1986 Volkswagen GTI Inner CV joints
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1986 Volkswagen GTI 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 130000 miles
no problems before this. but my car was started with it in third gear and ebrake up. five minutes later it was dropped in reverse. It sounded and felt like the CV joint snapped but when i looked under the car it looked as if it just popped out of the transmission. Is this possible without it being broke? i noticed no bolts or broked metal on the ground. all the connecting bolts were in place but just loose and i could put the CV joint back up to tranny.
