1998 Volkswagen Cabriolet oil cooler gasket
Engine Cooling problem
1998 Volkswagen Cabriolet 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150,00 miles
In replacing the upper radiator hose( also connects to oil cooler) I apparently disturbed the seal between the oil filter bracket and cooler. Oil now seeps out at a fairly good rate when the engine is running.
My question :
after disconnecting the water hoses, Does oil cooler simply screw off the shaft of the filter bracket shaft for repalcement on the seal / gasket ?
