Those volkswagens have several o2 sensors so they may have even changed the wrong one. Also if your car is under warranty you shouldnt be paying anything to a dealership. Three, I can't recommend that you continue to drive with your engine light on, but if you don't have the money, you just don't have the money. Dealerships tend to charge way more than a regular shop so if your car isn't under warranty, don't feel you have to continue to go there. And sometimes you can save your self some serious money by purchasing the part your self and then just pay for the labor.( Thats what I used to do)lol. Another thing. You can always take your car down to your local autozone or your local car parts place and get a free computer analysis whenever your engine light comes on. That way you don't have to pay a hundred dollars everytime you want to know whats going on. Keep me informed
