1974 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

My vw 74 bug pops out of reverse into neutral while reversing. Its very frustrating. Do you know what is causing this and how it can be fixed? (If possible by myself)

Hi there,

You will have to look at the shifter mechanism & also the reverse dà ©tente spring, this will be a bit involved so I think you would be better having mechanic check this for you.
