1973 Volkswagen Beetle cluch cable

Hi there,

has been a while but I will see how I go. Lift the floor mat at the front and there should be a cover plate. Remove and that is the access for the front of the cable, (This is in the hump section of the floor) From under the car the cable is attached to the clutch fork with a nut or a set of lock nuts, the cable will be secured by a clamp I think.
