1972 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 64000 miles

Hi,

just replaced my front axle beam from spindle to spindle. the whole dang thing.

it now looks like its sitting higher up front????
i'd like to lower it anyway, but is there a way to do it that i don't have to spend a whole lot, as in like it is now?? it is a beetle not a super beetle
