Vibration at idle and when reversing.

Car vibrates when its idle. Its worse when reversing. Vibration goes away as soon as I press accelerator.

Is the idle speed properly set? Have you checked for vacuum leaks on the engine? When was the last tune up?

I had the car serviced two weeks ago. The mechanic there told me that it could be because of the pressure regulating valve leaking. I am not sure about the idle speed.

Is he referring to the fuel pressure regulator? If so, that can cause it.
