2001 Vauxhall Zafira what could the fault be
on this engine the water pump collapsed and the timing belt came off bending all 16valves ..replaced valves,10 valve guides,head gasket and new valve seals and still no4 clyinder is burning oil. what could the problem be ...this is 1.6 ecotec engine petrol...

check compression on # 4 .. valve could still be leaking or piston rings damaged/scored cylinder if debris got in from somewhere !!
