Vauxhall Vectra 2006 will not turn over, turn key and I get no noise coming from engine

I have a 2006 1.9tdi estate vectra, it was running fine, but it was raining very hard on the day, but the next day went to turn the key and all lights came on, but nothing from engine only a clicking noise coming from main fuse box, had it plugged in and icu unit (brain) is not showing.

Start with ALL the fuses. Then go to the battery cables. They should be clean tight and have no green fuzzy stuff. Make sure the battery is fully charged before having it load tested. After verifying all these as up to par, then its time to delve into whether or not the brain is dead.
