1998 Vauxhall Sintra oil pressure relief valve

Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Vauxhall Sintra 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 121000 miles

My wife drove our car for about 400 yds with the oil light on. Local garage got the engine turning but it sounded dry inside. I suspect oil pump failure but vauxhall said to check the oil pressure relief valve first to make sure it's not stuck open.
Do you have any idea where it is located on the V6 sintra engine?
