2006 Vauxhall Meriva ABS applies on light breaking

2006 Vauxhall Meriva 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 21000 miles
Hi,
At slow speed when approaching traffic lights the ABS and electronic brake applies. But only braking at slow speeds.
Can you advise thanks

check the brake fluid level ... have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to check if there is a fault on the ABS system ?
