1993 Vauxhall Fronterra Front Brake Bleeding Screws

Brakes problem
1993 Vauxhall Fronterra 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 180000 miles

After changing the pads front and back I have found that I am going to need to remove the nipples from the front calipers and replace as they are unusable and I cannot bleed the brakes. Can you tell me the safest way to remove them without damaging the calipers as they are rusted in.

Thank you

Hi there,

Start with giving them a good spray with a penetrating spray or a freeze and release spray, try and work the bleeder back and forth till it starts to move, you may have to carefully drill the center and use a high quality stud extractor, don't use a screw in type as this only expands the bleeder, a knock in type is preferable.
