I think it is the engine light, it comes on regularly and goes when you put around 4000 rpm then it would disappear and then come back, also when you are in 1st you can hear the engine revving like you are putting gas kind of like it is out of time and when you lift up the clutch you cannot feel a biting point as it just starts driving away itself
