In the process of changing my cap, rotor and wires and its hard to remove the screw on my rotor because its in a odd position. Would hooking my battery back up and cranking my car change the position? If not what other options do I have?

Just hand crank the motor around to a position you can access the screw

With the plugs out, grab the belt or the alternator and move the motor till you see the screw
