hiya i have a 1969 mk3 spitfire it was in a garage in the peak district for 16years checked engine out when it arrived after replacing plugs points oil and filter rewing petrol she fired up she was off no 3 cylinder took engine out stripped and took all to an engineer suggested to put in a set of rings i got him to skim the head re seat the valves and i reground the valves re built all now off no 2 check ht lead changed plug re set tappets ect no good what else could it be im about to do a compression test can you think whats wrong garry
