Rear differential
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1978 Triumph Spitfire 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual ? miles
I rebuilt the differential and did not check if this is normal..............when I rotate the input shaft, both axles turn as expected. If I hold one of the axles and keep turning the main input, the axle won't turn.....same goes for the other side. Is this normal, or did I overlook something major? I replaced the oil seals and put in some shims to correct the backleash....as per manual.
